Hello MoMoers,
It’s November and it’s time to Rock the Vote at this month’s Smartphone SMACKDOWN. Well, at least, an imaginative smackdown, as three esteemed guests sit down to discuss their different viewpoints and perspectives on some recent or new entrants to the Smartphone category of mobile devices. Peter Rojas (Engadget.com) will lead a panel discussion that includes Michael Gartenberg (JupiterResearch) and Scott Weiss (Usable Products).
Also, in keeping with the theme of Election Month, attendees will be able to vote on their favorite phone after the discussion, using WAP-capable phones. The mobile poll will be provided courtesy of Cellufun , and results will be posted on the Mobile Mondays NY site the following day.
But wait…there’s more: the folks at PartyStrands will be providing the music and mobile DJ technology during the mixer portion of the event.
Thanks again to the Samsung Experience for hosting the event and providing snacks/beverages.
Note: Previously, we had also planned for a segment with a panel discussion on dotMobi. This has been tabled, due to time constraints and the fact that the topic deserves an entire event on its own. Apologies for any confusion. Look for us to cover this topic in February.
As always, anyone is welcome. Please just RSVP here so we can get a headcount.
