David Harper is founder of Delivr. Delivr is unlocking the value of the smartphone as the link between the real and on-line worlds. Delivr works with content owners, brands and application developers to enhance real-world interactions, providing campaign management, analytics and other services. Today Delivr offers a great QR Code and NFC Tag solution, managing and tracking campaigns across more than 100 countries worldwide. Delivr is based in New York and San Francisco.
As founder of Engagelogic – a privately held, New York-based enterprise software development and early-stage venture firm – David Harper has more than 20 years experience as an entrepreneur, patent holding inventor, and designer.
David Harper is also co-founder & CEO of PercentMobile. PercentMobile is a New York-based mobile analytics firm that helps global brands understand their mobile internet audience.
In 2005, Harper helped found the New York chapter of Helsinki-based Mobile Monday, an organization that fosters NYC’s mobile industry and is an active member of the MMA.
In 2001, David Harper founded Winksite – a mobile content management and social networking software company whose solutions connect publishers to their audiences and audience members to each other.
Dan Melinger, CEO, Socialight
Dan Melinger is an entrepreneur and mobile technology executive. He has a passion for the design and deployment of disruptive telecommunications technologies for business and consumer markets.
Melinger is a co-founder and the CEO of Socialight, creator of a platform that lets companies build businesses around local content and community. Prior to Socialight, at Vaultus Mobile Technologies, he worked largely with leading global financial institutions including Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, and Deutsche Bank, developing and deploying custom mobile solutions. He also has experience in media production, gained at firms including CNBC and Bloomberg.
Melinger holds a Master’s degree from New York University’s Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the Annenberg School at the University of Pennsylvania, where his undergraduate thesis explored the potential music industry impact of P2P technology, written before Napster became a dirty word.
In 2005, Melinger helped found the New York chapter of Helsinki-based Mobile Monday, an organization that fosters NYC’s mobile industry. He has spoken at numerous events including Producer’s Guild of America New Media Council, PhoCusWright (travel technology), and LBS Summit at CTIA, and has been featured on the programs and pages of The Discovery Channel, The New York Times, WIRED, and Reuters.com.
Maggie Taylor, Marketing Manager, Skyhook Wireless
Maggie Taylor is the Marketing Manager at Skyhook Wireless, worldwide leader in location positioning, context and intelligence, and manages Skyhook’s developer program. She is also a co-organizer of Mobile Monday Boston, Silicon Valley and Brooklyn. Maggie holds a B.A. in Public Relations and a double minor in Spanish Language and Communications Studies from the University of Rhode Island.
